Me Dustin Sheffield – Guitar and lead vocals

Dustin Sheffield Started playing the guitar at 12 years of age after his “papa” Melvin started giving him lessons. Starting with such classics as Your Cheating Heart, Dustin proved at a very early age that he was ready to carry on a rich tradition of great family music.

His love for different kinds of music started early in his life as he would listen to his parents practice a variety of different styles of music for hours upon hours with their own band, The Storm.

He is influenced by not only by his grandfather Melvin, but also Gary Allen, Toby Keith, and John Mayer. One of the funnier Sheffield’s you can always find him doing impressions, singing Rodney Carrington songs and joking around. The bands name its self; The Naked Lizard Band reflects just how crazy this young music artist can be.

Wayne Sheffield – Drums


Wayne Sheffield brings 33 years of experience to the band. Starting his career by winning a talent show contest at his school when he was 12 years old, drumming in band that consisted of cousins and other family. He continued to play drums with this band all through his teen years.

Coming from a family rich in musical talent, it seems as though every Sheffield plays an instrument or sings, most of the time you see them doing both. Having been influenced by his dad Melvin Sheffield, who his self was able to play multiple instruments and was also well known as a singer-song writer.

In the 90’s he started a successful band with his wife Beth, called Beth Ann Sheffield and the storm. They found their selves touring all over the Oklahoma and Texas area playing their brand of country music.

After taking a break from music, Wayne now finds his self starting a new chapter of his musical career by starting a new band with one of his 3 sons Dustin. Calling their selves The Naked Lizard Band, for reasons he would surely like to keep under wraps, some day after a show you should ask him about the name and its origins!
